“I hate that little slut.”
“Get over it. She’s about to be your sister-in-law.
“Not if I can help it.”
“What you gonna do, Tam, club and kidnap her before the wedding?” Brandi leaned back in the booth folding her arms, “Maybe Tom is really happy, like he says.”
Shaking her head, “I know Tommy better than anyone, and I know he’s not happy” Tammy motions to the dance floor, “Look at her. The way she dances and dresses, she might as well be hanging from a pole with her boobs out.”
Brandi chuckled, “Sounds like you’re a little Jealous, Tam.”
“No, I’m not,” she squeaked. Letting out a breath she continued, “Remember when we were here for the Christmas party? I saw her in the bathroom doing two guys and a girl.”
Brandi sat up, “A girl? How do you know she was doing a girl?”
“They were kissing,” Tammy gulped down her Fireball shot.
Brandi cracked a smile, “How do we get Tom to see her for who she really is.”
“Leave that to me. But you have to seduce him.”
“I’ve tried. He’s shown no interest.”
“Try harder.” She motioned toward Brandi’s chest, “Show him your equipment. Use it before it gets rusty.”
“Hay,” dragging the word out.
“Brandi, seriously when was the last time you had sex?”
“You remember Chip?”
“Wasn’t that like three years ago?”
“Yeah, so.” Brandi shrugs her shoulders, “No one does for me. Even with Chip I had to force it a little. I guess I never really got over him.”
Grabbing Brandi’s hand Tammy said, “That is way you have to seduce him. Don’t give him a chance to get away. Just throw he down and ride him like a horse.”
Tammy arrived at the church bummed that she couldn’t talk Tommy out of marring Sarah. Even more disappointing was Bradi wasn’t going to be there. Watching the man, she’s been in love with for years must have been too much to take.
Jack, Tommy’s best man, sat next to Tammy holding a bouquet of flowers.
“Sarah needs a favor. Her Maid or Honor can’t make it. She asked if you could stand in.”
“Oh, hell no. I’m already not happy that Brandi isn’t here.”
Jack squeezed her shoulder, “Please. For Tommy.”
Tommy came walking down the isle and they got into position. Tammy’s stomach wrenched with guilty hypocrisy.
“Thank you for doing this,” smiling as his twin
“Uh-ha.”
Tammy stared at the floor while the music played. She didn’t want to see Sarah in that white wedding dress.
“Hi.”
Tammy looked up to see Brandi’s beaming smile, through the veil.
“I tamed the horse.”
